Travel Retreats

By registering for a Leb Travel Retreat, making a payment, or participating in any of our services, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms.
Nature of a Travel Retreat
Our Leb Travel Retreats are religious pilgrimages, not standard tourism. They are organized for spiritual, devotional, and cultural purposes, often involving prayer, sacraments, walking, physical exertion, and exposure to unfamiliar conditions. Participants are expected to approach the Travel Retreat with respect for Catholic teaching, liturgy, clergy, sacred sites, the tour guide, and fellow pilgrims.
Registration and Contract
A registration is confirmed only when:
1) A completed registration form has been submitted, and
2) The required non-refundable deposit of $500 is received.
Once confirmed, these Terms constitute a binding agreement between you and Leb Experience LLC.
Payments and Pricing
All prices are listed in US Dollars. Prices may be subject to change due to factors beyond our control, including airfare, fuel surcharges, taxes, currency exchange rates, or supplier costs.
Payment deadlines are strict. Failure to pay on time may result in a 5% fee or if payment is delayed over 14 days, cancellation of your registration without a refund may be enforced.
Final payment is due 90 days prior to the intended departure date. In the event of a trip postponement, the new final payment will be 90 days prior to the new departure date or as directed through Leb Experience correspondence.
Cancellations by the Participant
Cancellation must be made in writing.
Unless otherwise stated in writing:
1) Registration Deposits of $500 are non-refundable.
2) If the traveler’s written notice of cancellation is received by Leb Experience LLC more than 90 days prior to the original departure date all payments made toward the price of the tour less a $250 processing fee will be refunded. For cancellations received 90 days or less prior to the trip departure, the initial deposit of $500 plus any applicable charges imposed by the airlines, hotels, and bus companies on Leb Experience LLC will be non- refundable. Please note that the amount may vary with each pilgrimage and the vendors we work with. In the event of postponement, the above still applies.
3) Airline tickets, travel insurance, and third-party services are typically non-refundable.
Cancellations or Changes by Leb Experience LLC
We reserve the right to:
1) Cancel or modify a Travel Retreat due to insufficient participants, force majeure, safety concerns, or circumstances beyond our control (including but not limited to natural disasters, war, civil unrest, pandemics, or government restrictions).
2) Substitute guides, accommodations, transportation, or itineraries when necessary.
Leb Experience retains the right to cancel any Travel Retreat up to the departure date in which case all funds less the $500 non-refundable deposit received will be returned within 10 business days. In the event that the Travel Retreat is canceled, the non-refundable deposit will be converted into a credit to be used toward any Leb Travel Retreat.
Travel Documents and Requirements
You are responsible for:
1) Holding a valid passport (with required validity of at least 6 months before the return date)
2) Obtaining visas, vaccinations, and entry permits if required for a particular Travel Retreat
3) Complying with health, customs, and immigration laws
We are not responsible for denial of entry, deportation, or delays due to documentation issues.
Health, Fitness, and Special Needs
By registering, you confirm that:
1) You are physically and mentally capable of participating in the Travel Retreat. You must be physically capable of walking an average of 6 miles a day at a steady pace.
2) You disclose all medical conditions, dietary needs, or mobility limitations at registration.
We reserve the right to refuse participation or require medical clearance if a condition may pose a risk to yourself or others.
Code of Conduct
Participants are expected to:
1) Behave respectfully toward clergy, guides, fellow pilgrims, and local communities
2) Dress modestly and appropriately at sacred sites
3) Refrain from behavior contrary to Catholic moral teaching
We reserve the right to remove any participant whose behavior is disruptive, unsafe, or inappropriate, without refund.
Baggage
It is advised to travel light. Passengers are permitted one piece of luggage per person. If portage service is included in the Travel Retreat package, it is for only one suitcase per person. The airlines for international flights will not allow a suitcase exceeding 50 pounds (subject to change), if over 50lbs., fees will be applied at the traveler’s expense. Every effort will be made to handle luggage carefully; however, Leb Experience LLC will not assume any liability for lost or damaged luggage or items inside luggage carrier.
Responsibility and Liability
Leb Experience LLC acts as an organizer and coordinator and does not own or control airlines, hotels, transportation providers, or other suppliers.
To the fullest extent permitted by law:
1) We are not liable for injury, illness, loss, damage, delay, or expense caused by third parties, acts of God, or events beyond our control.
2) Participation is at your own risk.
Assumption of Risk and Release
You acknowledge that travel and pilgrimage involve inherent risks, including but not limited to illness, accidents, crime, and physical exertion.
By participating, you voluntarily assume all such risks and release Leb Experience LLC, its officers, employees, clergy, volunteers, and agents from liability, except where prohibited by law.
Insurance
We strongly recommend the purchase of travel insurance (personal accident/illness/injury/trip cancellation/baggage insurance). Leb Experience LLC disclaims responsibility for accidents, personal illness or injury, trip cancellations, or handling of baggage not under our control. All categories of insurance may be purchased from Leb Experience LLC.
Photography and Media
By participating, you grant Leb Experience LLC permission to use photographs or video taken during the pilgrimage for promotional or educational purposes, unless you notify us in writing in advance.
Minors
Participants under 18 must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian if not on a school- organized Leb Travel Retreat and may be required to submit additional consent forms.
